We are committed to promoting authentic craftsmanship. The majority of our products are handmade in Africa and the USA, meaning they may contain very slight imperfections that make them unique. We are proud to offer limited edition collections and items to ensure products with minimal environmental impact. 

Return Policy

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must contact us via email at info@shopafrothreads.com within 7 days of receipt of your purchase with a reason for your return/exchange. Returns are made at your own expense and the item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your return. If it is approved, you will receive a refund via the same means used to make your purchase.

Please note that custom orders, items on sale, and gift card purchases are final.  

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged item, simply contact us via email at info@shopafrothreads.com within 24 hours of receipt and we'll be glad to assist.

Shipping Policy

AFROTHREADS™ ships domestically and internationally from Baltimore, Maryland. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the total weight of your items.

Enjoy affordable, express, worldwide shipping via DHL Ghana for our Kente Cloth. Please note that you are responsible for paying any additional taxes or duties that may be applicable for international orders.

You will receive an email once we have received your order, and it generally takes 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. Certain products may take longer, which will be noted in the particular product description. You will receive another email once your order has been shipped.

If there are any issues placing your order, please submit your desired ship to address and order via the contact us page. We will quote you on shipping and issue an invoice.
